2. In brief

• No analytics or marketing cookies without your explicit consent.
• Fonts, images and scripts are served exclusively from our own server – no Google Fonts, no embedded maps or videos.
• External services (booking engine, maps, social networks) only open when you click a corresponding link.
• There is no form on this website that transmits data to us. Enquiries go via your own e-mail app or by phone.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated by an external hosting provider. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, date and time, requested page/file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system) solely to ensure secure and stable operation. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

4. Storage on your device

This website does not set cookies. No information is stored on or read from your device unless strictly necessary to display the page (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

5. Contact by e-mail or phone

If you contact us, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed, subject to statutory retention periods.

6. Online booking via Mews

For online bookings we use the booking engine of Mews Systems B.V., Wibautstraat 137D, 1097 DN Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The booking engine only opens in a new window when you click “Check availability” or “Book”; we only pass on your search parameters (dates, guests, room category, language) – no personal data. Mews processes the data required for your reservation on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR (legal basis Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR). See the Mews privacy policy.

7. External links

We link to Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, the BE Kühlungsborn restaurant, Instagram and Facebook. These are plain links, not embedded content – a connection to the provider is only established when you click.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent (Art. 15–21, 7 (3) GDPR). Contact: info@waldkrone.de.
